RESUMO

O diagnóstico do Embolismo Pulmonar é considerado por vezes difícil. É importante reconhecer as situações clínicas que podem ser potencialmente desencadeantes. Existe uma série de meios auxiliares de diagnóstico, quer laboratoriais quer imagiológicos, que devem ser adaptados aos meios disponíveis em cada instituição.

ABSTRACT

Pulmonary Embolism is often considered a difficult diagnosis to establish. It is important to recognise clinical situations that leads to it. There are a few laboratory and imaging tests, that should be tailored to the available facilities in each institution.
