ABSTRACT

Granular cell tumors are distinctly uncommon benign neoplasms of the tracheobronchial tree. When they occur in the major airways, the usual presenting symptoms are those or airway obstruction. We present a case report of a patient with a granular cell tumor of the trachea. The histogenesis, clinical and therapeutic aspects of these tumors are reviewed.
