ABSTRACT

Primary mediastinal genn cell tumors are uncommon neoplasms, and embryonal carcinoma is one of less frequent histologic type among them. The authors present a literature review of this entity departing from a case report of a 35-year-old man, whose clinical presentation was hidden by the suspicion of a loculated empyema after a thoracotomy perfonncd for bullectomy.
